Prospects for Global Energy Markets, including the Role of the United States: Perspectives from the World Energy Outlook 2018

The CSIS Energy & National Security Program is pleased to host Dr. Fatih Birol, Executive Director of the International Energy Agency (IEA), present highlights of the IEA's World Energy Outlook 2018.  The WEO is the IEA's annual report on the state of the energy sector from a global perspective, providing comprehensive analysis of the interplay between energy policy, markets, and technology development.

Dr. Birol's presentation will be followed by a panel discussion with Frank Fannon (U.S. Department of State), John Hess (CSIS; Hess Corporation), and Katherine Hamilton (38 North Solutions), moderated by Sarah Ladislaw.
