28. Affirm Character and Ability

Think about your successes. Most likely, they’re due to your ability, talents, and skills along with your choice to use character qualities like teachability, effort, and perseverance. Therefore, make sure to affirm both in children. When they do well, let them know it’s because of how they’re smart, other abilities, and their choices to use their character.
