117. Character Qualities: Teaching Character Qualities

In this episode, Dr. Kathy talks about how it is crucial to speak to your kids about their character choices and not just whether something is good or bad. One of the ways to teach character is imitation. Jesus encouraged His disciples to imitate Him just like He imitated His father. Be intentional. If you teach something, you have to expect it; if you expect it, you have to inspect it. Change requires taking off and putting on. As we teach kids character, we teach them who to be and what could stand in the way of who they could be.
