Today it's just a short episode. I want you to take some time to evaluate your progress this year. We will use this evaluation next week, but for now just evaluate and feel smug about how great you are!  In this episode I mention one of my favourite online coaches Mel Robbins. She has two books and some great ideas. If you want to carry out her Year End Review you can watch the video and download the workbook from YouTube here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sCLB533VtS0 I'll see you tomorrow when we have a fun episode all about different New Year traditions. Vocabulary During the course of the year - In episode 24 we studied during/for we use 'the course of' when we're talking about something that takes the whole of a particular amount of time. We could say 'during the course of dinner he told me his story', meaning during the time we were eating dinner. I'm all for that - A common phrase that means 'I support that' or 'I agree with that thing.' Warm snuggly feeling - a phrase to describe the feeling of being cosy. We can use it to describe the literal feeling for example being in front of a fire, drinking hot chocolate. Or like in this case that feeling of being satisfied with something. Lets see what you can come up with - to come up with something - phrasal verb - to have an idea or ask someone to brainstorm or be creative. Take Stock - Idiom - to look back and evaluate Smug - Having pride in yourself and your achievements (maybe a little too much pride)
