Watch the video of this episode at youtube.com/edufuturists Vikki is the National Head of EdTech and Digital Skills at the Education and Training Foundation (ETF). She joined the ETF in 2018 from Epping Forrest College where she was Head of Digital Literacy, Voice & Innovation. Vikki is French and has been living in England since 1987. She initially worked as a freelance illustrator and taught graphic design and illustration at South Thames College. In 1993 Vikki acquired her first Apple Mac, Wacom tablet, colour printer, Adobe suite and scanner, as she could foresee the impact such technology would have on the creative industries and education. From then on, she pursued her interest in the exploration and embedding of digital literacy and capability into her life and course delivery. In 2008, as a keen technology early adopter, Vikki decided to refocus her career on change management and digital capability where she has worked since and was awarded a personal EdTech50 award in March 2018. Vikki has been at the forefront of designing the ETF's EdTech Strategy and developing and delivering the ETF’s digital teaching support including the development of the Digital Teaching Professional Framework, the competency framework for teaching and training practitioners across all parts of the Further Education (FE) sector, the EdTech50 2020 award winning Enhance Digital Teaching Platform.
