This post provides a summary mapping of the EA / EA-adjacent career advising ecosystem as well as a list of various career resources, developed by the Career Advising Meta Forum. What is the Career Advising Meta Forum? EA and EA-adjacent organisations offer, in aggregate, dozens of incredible resources and thousands of career advising sessions per a year. However, in early 2025, we realised that there existed seemingly few collaborations across the career advising sector. In late spring 2025, we began a working group of EA and EA adjacent organisations offering career advice and advising services to advance cooperation and collaboration in this space. So far the forum has met three times to discuss challenges and opportunities in the impact-focused career advising space. We have a Slack group and met in-person at EAG London 2025 (as well as a smaller meeting a month before at EAGxNordics).
