“Announcing EA Brazil Summit” by Leo Arruda, Juana Martínez

The AEBr Summit, the first major event of Effective Altruism Brazil, will take place on June 29, 2024, in the city of São Paulo, at the Innovation Center of the University of São Paulo (INOVA USP). Our main objective is to expand and strengthen the Brazilian EA community by inviting both newcomers and experienced members to join us for a day of inspiring talks, workshops, and networking! Registrations are open until June 15! Why an AEBr Summit? The EA movement in Brazil has grown in recent years, with new local and university groups in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. This AEBr Summit will be an occasion to promote a sense of community among all members in Brazil, connect people and organizations, and publicize and strengthen the movement.
