Paul says, “I suddenly realised how underinvested I was as a chief executive in my own development and also that of the team that worked within the business. On the 4th January 2009, I went back into the office knowing that 25% of the people in the company wouldn’t have a job the day after. I vowed from that point I would never let that happen again.
