23. AI with Dennis - If we build sentient AI should we pay it a salary?

In this episode we take some term and learn a bit more about Artificial Intelligence and Artificial General Intelligence, my guess this week Dennis has been working in tech for the past couple of years and has taken the part year off to explore Artificial Intelligence and he has decided to share some of his learning today on the Podcast. We discuss the difference between Artificial Intelligence and Artificial General Intelligence and ask a couple of questions: Can AGI create new knowledge? Can it and should it decided on it won what is a problem and if it should solve it? What is a Problem? Are humans a problem ? What is a Person? What are the financial interceptive to building AGI? If AGI has free will and we tell it what to do - do we make it a slave? Should we pay hire and pay the AI ? If so what do we pay it in and what is it going to do with the money?
