PAUL MAXWELL scored over a hundred goals in three spells as a striker at Ashfield. The Milton man was signed after playing as a trialist against his local team – then went on to help them climb the leagues. Since 2018 he’s been the manager trying to bring those fortunes back to Saracen Park. The Field share their ground with the Glasgow Tigers Speedway team. And after a tough start to a covid-hit campaign, we’ll hear how Maxi is planning to get them back on their bike when football returns. When exactly that will be is anyone's guess.
