It can’t be overstated how much of a pop culture phenomenon Tim Burton’s 1989 “Batman” movie was. People were losing their bat-obsessed mind. The skepticism of the Michael Keaton casting quickly fell off. Jack Nicholson entrenched himself as a cinema icon. Airbrush T-shirt shops were popping up in strip malls hocking any article of clothing with the Batman logo on it. We couldn’t get enough. Unless you were my grandmother who, very quickly, had enough. Hear us tell you all about it all over again.
