Episode 143: DISCO PURRFECTION (VOLUME 1)

I thought it would be fun to do a classic disco compilation for New Year's Eve, or whenever you get the inclination to take a listen. All of these extended versions were remixed by DJ Disco Cat who, in my opinion, does some of the best remixes of classic disco I have heard. If you like, check out his youtube channel. These are really long versions in the tradition of what I believe was the first extended remix ever created being Donna Summer's "Love To Love You Baby" back in the mid 70's which was extended to nearly 20 minutes long. Back in the day, when a song was really good people didn't want it to be over in 3 minutes if they were enjoying it on the dancefloor. Due to the length of some of these tracks I could only fit 7 songs on this mix.
