She is an NHS associate in practice in the midlands. During the COVID lockdown, Shazia set up a Facebook support group for dental professionals affected by contract changes, withheld payments and other disputes. The group became the British Dental Action Group which campaigns to improve how NHS practice owners manage funding in relation to employees and associates.
