Poor Dave's attempts TO PRACTICE – VADITI his French TO IMPRESS – NAREDITI VTIS on Fani didn't work out as he planned. C'est la vie! Maybe he should stick to Slovenian. Well, he did learn a few new words this evening. LOK is an ARCH, ZMAGA is VICTORY, POLJE is A FIELD, MOST is A BRIDGE and STOLP is A TOWER. He didn't eat any SNAILS – POLŽEV, or FROGS LEGS – ŽABJIH KRAKOV in France, but he did see the Mona Lisa - despite the QUEUE - VRSTA. All in all, it was a VERY ROMANTIC HONEYMOON - ZELO ROMANTIČEN MEDENI TEDEN, in THE CITY OF LOVE - V MESTU LJUBEZNI.
