Cycling Talk Podcast - The Anya Louw Episode

In this Cycling Life Story I am joined by Australian rider for AG Insurance Soudal Quick-Step, Anya Louw.Anya grew up in Tasmania and we chat about what life was like growing up there, travelling by boat to races and how it felt to race in Europe for the first time as a young rider. The Covid pandemic meant that Anya had a long time away from racing in Europe but was able to continue her studies and train on local roads before racing in Australia began again. After joining AG Insurance Soudal Quick-Step Anya was part of the first Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift and has since helped her team in a number of stage and one day races.Since recording this episode, Anya has been involved in  a crash which has left her with a broken pelvis. I want to wish Anya a quick recovery and look forward to seeing her back racing once she is healed.I'm sure Anya has an amazing few years ahead of her in the Women's Pro Peloton and I can't wait to see what she can achieve.Find all episodes of Cycling Talk Podcast wherever you get your podcasts from.
