Steve Cooper talks with musician Robbie Grey. Robbie is best known for being lead singer for the band Modern English. Modern English formed in England in 1979. Their second album, After the Snow, contained the hit I Melt with You. That song charted in both the UK and USA and was featured in the 80's classic movie Valley Girl. The group disbanded in 1987, only to reform two years later and then disband after another two years. They reunited again in 1995 and have continued in various lineups since that time, with four fifths of the original lineup currently back in the band. They have released eight studio albums throughout their career and are currently on tour with The Alarm and Gene Loves Jezebel.
