The pod begins with Darcell discussing her early performance and video work which used her body as a way to facilitate ideas of ‘otherness’, sometimes drawing on her career as a competitive wood chopper. Also discussed are two new video works, in which Darcell removes herself from the frame but retains a focus on autobiography.
