Law changes to be announced with apology to abuse in care survivors

Checkpoint - A podcast by RNZ - Fridays

The Prime Minister has promised that tomorrow's national apology to survivors of abuse in state care will be more than just words - announcing a raft of law changes he hopes will stop it ever happening again.  Speaking alongside him at a media conference moments ago, the minister in charge Erica Stanford said she was incredibly nervous ahead of the big day.
