For many of us, cobbling together enough money for a deposit on a first home can be financially and emotionally overwhelming. In some cases, it's just not possible, so using Kiwisaver funds to help get a deposit over the line is an option used by thousands of people every year. But what happens when it doesn't work out? Data supplied to Radio New Zealand shows hundreds of people have had to return their money to the scheme. Money correspondent Susan Edmunds spoke to Lisa Owen.
