1980’s Cannes Blockbusters with David Sims

In the 2010's George Miller's MAD MAX FURY ROAD reigned supreme. In the 2000's it was Sam Raimi's DRAG ME TO HELL. And the 90s, it was none other than Alex Proyas's DARK CITY. So we come, at last, to the 80s with the earliest possible slate of Blockbusters. What film will take home the Palme?
