She is also currently writing a book entitled Power Networking the Film & TV Markets for Focal Press. Heather is an approved independent Producer for NBCUniversal through their IFTA Development Needs Partnership Program. She directed, produced and co-wrote the thriller Absolute Killers starring Edward Furlong, Meatloaf Aday and Ed Asner. Ms. Hale is a highly sought after speaker and has taught all over the world. She served as the Industry Liaison for the American Film Market in 2013 and the Director of Event Programming for the National Association of Television Program Executives (NATPE) where she helped develop what is now PitchCon (the TV Producers Boot Camp, formerly the LA TV Fest).
