How Nutrition Impacts Creativity

What we eat not only impacts us mentally and physically but can also affect our creativity. Sophie Medlin, Head of Nutrition Research at Heights, shares how nutrition affects all aspects of our mental health. The relationships between food, mood, and mental performance are bi-directional. Our mood affects what we eat and what we eat affects our mood and mental performance. Studies show people who suffer from depression and anxiety are more likely to have vitamin and mineral deficiencies. Medlin shares why people with mood disorders are often deficient in key nutrients. She discusses hydration, gut bacteria, dietary non-negotiables, lifestyle factors, and supplementation in this week's minisode.
