Brett Morris

In the first episode of the new series, Paul is joined by Brett Morris, Music Director and Principal Conductor of New Adventures. Brett was born in New Zealand. He initially studied conducting with Juan Mattuecci in Auckland, before travelling to London to study with Norman del Mar. He subsequently completed his studies in orchestral conducting and piano accompaniment at the Royal College of Music, in addition to undertaking a MA at Roehampton. Since 2000 he has been Musical Director and Principal Conductor of New Adventures and has conducted all of the company’s repertoire in London, on tour throughout the UK, and internationally throughout Europe, the United States and the Far East.
