Bleav presents On The List with Brett Gursky - A podcast by Bleav
It’s the twenty-fifth episode of our intimate sit-down with some of Hollywood’s well-known actors and rising stars that just so happen to also be friends with On The List host Brett Gursky. This week’s guest Dania Ramirez joins Brett to talk all about her acting career and her new hit show “Devious Maids”, which was created by Marc Cherry. Dania takes Brett all the way back to the beginning, discussing how she was born in the Dominican Republic, grew up in New York and New Jersey, and decided she wanted to become an actress at age 16. She tells the story of how Spike Lee discovered her, which led to her starring in his films “25th Hour”and “She Hate Me”. Dania and Brett reminisce about “X-Men: The Last Stand”, directed by Brett Ratner, which they worked on together in 2005. Dania also shares stories from the sets of three popular TV shows that she was a part of: “The Sopranos”, “Heroes”, and “Entourage”. She then talks about joining the cast of “American Pie” for the fourth installment, “American Reunion”, and working with Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Michael Shannon in her latest film “Premium Rush”. Be sure to tune in to “Devious Maids” on Lifetime every Sunday night at 10pm.
