#BHN Satirist Dave Armstrong on Māori signs | Is Tinetti in contempt? | Nationals attack on women
#BHN Big Hairy News - A podcast by Blindfish Media
Satirist and Playwright Dave Armstrong joins us to talk about his very funnt article on bilingual signs and how the Birkenhead Bowling Club is dealing with the proposed change. See the full article here Did Education Minister Jan Tinetti deliberately mislead the house on a question around the delay in release of school attendance information from the Ministry. This is the accusation and the House has referred the issue to the Privileges Committee to see if Tinetti has committed contempt. Christopher Luxon has made it clear that part of their roll back of the Labour policy for free prescriptions women will again need to pay for contraception. Labour wanted to make access to contraception as easy as possible for women in NZ and one would think that the conservative party, who are more likely to be pro-life, would do everything they can to help prevent unwanted pregnancies. There is now a conversation about what is "nice to have" as Mr Luxon stated and what is essential.
