Many were unsure how Ugly God’s career would pan out. Being compared to the likes of Lil Dicky, who manages to always stay relevant, I mean did you guys see that Sway freestyle? Anyway, back to Ugly God. The basketball player and computer engineer turned rapper saw his rise to fame came when his music video and song I Beat my Meat would go viral. The hilarious song, accompanied by a video portraying Ugly God and his friends, well, acting like they’re beating their meat, would quickly garner the attention of kids and teens worldwide. At the time of this recording, it’s got around 5 million views on youtube. Following the hit, Ugly God would release his debut single which would chart on the billboard hot 100 at number 100. Eventually, it would hit 80 on the charts, which would lead to Ugly God dropping a couple of mixtapes and have fans eagerly awaiting his debut album, Bumps and Bruises. Although 2017 was a killer year for Ugly God, it seems he really stayed quiet in 2018. Aside from dropping his EP, Just a Lil Something Before the Album which included 4 tracks and jumping on a feature with Lil Yachty, as well as a couple of others, he didn’t do much. Now that we’re more than halfway through 2019, you guys are probably wondering, what’s the man been up to?
