Lots of great artists were popping off this year. Some inspired the funniest and most viral Internet memes; others have left us the best music of the year, despite their tragic ending... Team 10 fell apart and Lil Tay was gone as quickly as she came. The kid yodeling in Walmart became a mainstream star and there were rap beefs between multiple legends and sports trades no one ever expected. There were also YouTubers entering the boxing ring. 6ix9ine was sent to prison and Wide Neck's mugshot made him a viral star once he was released. On top of all this, there was even a catchphrase for the summer of 2018.
