Todd Gurley II | Before They Were Famous | He has played with the Rams so long, he can remember back to when the team was based in St. Louis... So like a year ago. Starting with the team in 2015, Todd's sports dream was steering him in another direction. In high school, he was involved in football, basketball, and track & field. His coaches watching his every move on the court, Todd was leaning more towards basketball. Either way, he knew he had to do something. Living in a trailer home in North Carolina with his mom and four brothers, Todd was raised to be humble. Some nights, the family would have only oatmeal to eat for dinner. Todd was taught by people in his life that in order to get what he wanted, he needed to work for it. Playing football since he was just a young kid, many coaches saw potential in his abilities. However, upon arrival to high school, he had grown tired of playing football and had his eyes set on the basketball court. But with a little bit of push from his mentors, they got him set on the right track. Todd would go on to grind it out on the high school football team, eventually moving onto the University of Georgia in 2012. Since joining the NFL, Todd has amassed quite the fanbase.
