Skinnyfromthe9 is a hip-hop artist known for giving you some of 2018's biggest online bangers. Hailing from the small town of Somerville New Jersey, the rapper overcame a childhood literally from the bowels of hell to become one of the genre's most promising acts. His mother and stepfather lived a life on the other side of the law dragging their army of kids with them all across the country. Skinny was basically left to raise his younger siblings before ending up in Child Services. which led to him getting hooked on one particular Eminem track. Pouring his heart and his soul into his lyricism he'd get some inspiration and motivation from other rap stars including Fetty Wap and ASAP Rocky. On a recent trip to LA, I paid a visit to Skinny's label HitCo and they played for me some of his unreleased work... trust me, this kid is gonna do some big things!
