Over the course of his fighting career, Mike earned hundreds of millions of dollars, but after spending it all on things like mansions in Ohio, Maryland, and Connecticut. He spent $4.5 million on cars and motorcycles and owned some 110 cars, including a Rolls Royce, multiple Bentleys, Ferraris and Lamborghinis, a Range Rover, and Mercedes Benz 500. Tyson employed as many as 200 people, including bodyguards, chauffeurs, chefs, and gardeners. He lavishly spent $11.2 million on clothes, jewelry, and personal expenses; and at one time spent $410,000 on a birthday party. There was also close to $1.7 million on acquiring, training, and feeding his not one, not two but three white Bengal tigers. There were also three marriages with one divorce setting him back $9 Million alone, there have been eight children and he spent time behind bars which come with some mighty expensive legal fees. So it can’t come as much of a surprise to learn that by 2003, after having a blockbuster career as a prizefighter that Iron Mike Tyson was filing for Bankruptcy. At the peak of his powers, Mike was looking at a Net Worth of around $300 Million. Today, that number is widely reported to be closer to $3 Million dollars. Hey, that’s still a lot of money -- but it ain’t $300 Million. With that said, Mike is about to grace us all with the possible comeback of the century to fight Roy Jones Jr in an exhibition match at the ripe old age of 54.
