Burt Reynolds is no relation to Ryan Reynolds but they have a whole lot in common. Back in the 1970s and 80's Burt was the King of Hollywood and was one of its most bankable stars. A true man's man, he played poker with Elvis, spent time with Marilyn Monroe and had beef with Marlon Brando. Or Marlon had it for him. This is the stuff of Hollywood legend, a University football star whose hopes and dreams were shattered in a car accident. He quickly transitioned into acting and worked his way up from television and into films in a career that spanned 60 years. Sadly Burt Reynold passed away just yesterday at the age of 82.
