Blac Youngsta grew up in severe poverty in the crime riddled streets of South Memphis. Raised by his grandparents, he started working when he was just seven years old to help feed his younger siblings. When an honest days work wasn't enough to pay the bills, Blac turned to scamming and slinging crack. Before reaching adulthood, he'd seen more than life time's worth of guns, jail time, and more. Prior to hooking up with Yo Gotti and CMG, he suffered from severe depression.
