What’s the Best Way To Apply a Face Mask?

I've always been into face masks, but over the course of the last month or so, my fondness has grown into a full-blown obsession. Though my skin has been loving it, applying with my hands feel wasteful: After I apply, a ton of the mask on my hands gets washed away down the sink! So in an effort to minimize the mess, a few weeks ago I decided to take a cue from the pros and start using a brush to apply my masks — and luckily, plenty of brands make brushes just for this purpose.
