Episode 34: Aboubacar Kaba

Aboubacar (Abou) Kaba is a lover of Beyoncé  and graduating 4th year medical student at Saint Louis University School of Medicine where is the outgoing Student Government Vice President. He is a recently matched incoming Urology resident at UCLA.  He completed his undergraduate studies at the ILLUSTRIOUS (his words not mine) Alabama State University, a HBCU located in Montgomery, AL, where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biology with a concentration in Pre-Health and a Double Minor in Chemistry and Math. He grew up in Atlanta, GA after his family immigrated from Guinea when he was 5 years old. Growing up in a predominately Black environment and then attending an HBCU, he has always been surrounded by people who believed in him. He shares his experiencing navigating the world with this unparalleled support and how it led him to being the confident, determined person he is today.
