Episode 31:Dr. Denise Asafu-Adjei

Dr. Denise Asafu-Adjei is currently a Fellow in Andrology (Male Sexual Dysfunction and Infertility) at University of California Los Angeles (UCLA). She completed her residency in urological surgery at Columbia University Medical Center in New York City.  She obtained her Bachelor of Science from Carnegie Mellon University. She received her M.D. from the University of Michigan Medical School and an MPH in Health Policy and Management from the Harvard School of Public Health.   In the future, she aims to utilize her clinical research to help healthcare systems achieve access to equitable and high quality healthcare. She is passionate about mentorship and continues to actively mentor medical students and residents. Finally, she seeks to ultimately create and expand urological exchange programs and partnerships in her family’s country of Ghana and other African countries.    She enjoys leisure international travel, golf,  musicals, political history, and cooking.s
