108 - Goalless and Soulless

Back Of The Net - The AFC Bournemouth Podcast - A podcast by Back of the Net - The AFC Bournemouth Podcast

It was a tough watch at Kenilworth Road on Saturday as Cherries came away with a point from a very well oiled Luton Town side. Cherries looked leggy today against a determined and well drilled Hatters team, and throughout the the game, there was nothing to suggest that the stalemate would ever be broken, and with JT's side looking worn - the game ended in a draw. It was poor to watch, and the lack of composure in the final third was all to prevalent - we got in good positions, but couldn’t convert. What better time then, for a podcast to talk about it?!  So, in the final Back of the Net of the year, we hear the opinions of Morgan Scott, Kirk Tovey, and Cherries fan Dom - plus we take in the thoughts of Tom Jordan, who rates the players for the Bedfordshire bore-draw. Finally, we just wanted to wish a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all our followers and subscribers. It has been such a strange and testing year, but we just wanted to say thanks for all your support.  Despite the isolation, we've really enjoyed the community buzz during the lockdowns, and whilst it has been great to talk to some Cherries greats, chatting regularly to fellow AFC Bournemouth fans has been more of a privilege. We're taking a break until the start of January, The last audio pod of 2020 is out tomorrow, and whilst there will be isolated content posted on the Youtube channel, the Free-For-All's will return in 2021.
