104 - A Royally Good Half Time Bollocking
Back Of The Net - The AFC Bournemouth Podcast - A podcast by Back of the Net - The AFC Bournemouth Podcast

On Saturday, Cherries beat Reading 4 - 2 at Dean Court, and it was the archetypal game of two halves. Jason Tindall's half time dressing down did the trick, and the "bollocking" he gave the players (in the words of David Brooks) had the desired effect - better quality, more desire, and they were more clinical too. In this podcast, Sam Davis and Jeff Hayward dissect the game, and when you face certain teams, the headlines are easy to write. Reading provide such joy with their Royals and Biscuitmen associations, so you won't be surprised to find out that the reign at the top of the league ended at the Vitality on Saturday and indeed it was the Cherries players who are now hob-nobbing with their promotion rivals Norwich City, sitting pretty in second place, leaving their opponents on Saturday ruing their chances after crumbling to a 4-2 defeat. Nice. In this podcast we also get the Player Ratings with Tom Jordan and Owen Tovey - a young Cherries fan with some great opinions on the game! Plus... a look forward to our chat with Jason Tindall, and opportunity afforded to us via the Cherries Trust, so we speak to our main man Tom, and ask him what it was like.
