At least, we can positively say that we have witnessed the birth of this new age of Audiotalaia, surrounded by new and old friends with whom this wouldn’t be possible. In this final chapter of the year we are happy to host the geo-located, remote and inaccessible oeuvre by Atilio Doreste. He, form the far west coast of Tenerife sends us a sound art piece blown by the Trade Winds so present on that far side of the Isle. From Madrid to Murcia where we meet Susana López (aka Susan Drone) with whom we explore the amazing SONM Archive of sound art an Experimental Music. This archive founded by Francisco López himself, just turned 10 years and we celebrate it with a virtual tour across its brand new space in this southern city of Spain. C Lavender from New York, arrives at Ruido Vírico with a set that distances itself from its usual sonic balsams and immerses itself into the more rugged and harsh territories. Those being what one can listen on its latest album for Editions Mego, Myth of Equilibrium, a gem of experimentalism. Feedbac, distosion, and modular synths at its best. Frome Rome we welcome Luca Lnogobardi. This pianist, composer and visual artists delivers a meditative set full of textures, soundscapes tided together with its iconic on derive piano notes. Reminds us of that Cendre by Fennesz and Sakamoto but with its own flavour and freshness. A great step into the unattainable Italian scene. Finally, top close this bleak year there no better soundtrack than Alberto Lucendo. This composer form Castellón (Spain) and currently living en Berlin, takes us hand in hand on a melancholic voyage celer-style. Lucendo unfolds a wide palette of pure cinematic sonorities, with a big presence of field recordings, found sounds and voices. Cinema for the ears to close a terrible year in the best way possible.
