Before 14th February 1981, the Stardust was THE place for young people in north Dublin to be on a Saturday night. Then came the appalling tragedy of the fire in which 48 people died and 214 were injured. Gemma Kane is a writer and actor whose parents were at the nightclub that night. Her play – 48 – opens next week at Bewleys Café Theatre.
