SURPRISE SUMMER SPECIAL!

WE'RE BACK! Despite taking a well needed break over the summer, we felt we had to do this post Too Much Tour debrief! In part, because we still can't believe it all happened, and mostly because we have a thousand people to thank!! If you've just discovered us, this is NOT our usual episode format, so best dive into another episode first. This LENGTHY reflective ramble is a one-off in which we spill the tea about the ADHD awareness raising tour which almost didn't happen(!) and most definitely could not have happened without the hardcore generosity of so many people who kindly gave up their spare time and spare rooms to make this ridiculousness possible! In hindsight, our (almost back to back) 15 date UK tour was absolutely TOO MUCH on every level! But despite the literal blood, sweat and tears, we had the time of our lives and cannot say thank you enough! We've learnt a hell of a lot... and we can't stop singing Black Velvet! There are TOO MANY people to thank for the word count even without this blurb, but all are thanked profusely in this beast of a blether! Did it really happen though?! With very special thanks to the legendary Joe Charlan for suggesting doing a tour way back in Sept '22; though we're sure this all singing, all dancing extravaganza wasn't what he'd envisaged... all or nothing? Us?!  Big love and gratitude to all of our guest speakers, to all of you who came along and that we had the honour of meeting, to our Merch makers, to the venues, and those that helped on the show dates, to the community members who let us hitch a ride, to Kim Pierpoint for coming up with the risky but genius scheme that saved the day in our darkest hour, and to the one and only Nicole Nadler for ABSOLUTELY BLOODY EVERYTHING!  - We can't wait to reunite with our tour Mum Nicole at the INCREDIBLE Edinburgh Fringe show 'Why am I like this?', a lot of which she wrote on the road with us and previewed at our shows. We will be doing a Talkback after the show on 6th August and would LOVE to see you there! - TICKETS HEREWe will be back soon for Season 2 of this podcast, but in the meantime we are active on our Online Community, for Peer to Peer Support, Live Blethers, BTS, Exclusives, Vlogs, Blogs and Body doubling...
