80 Level Round Table: Porting Skyforge for Nintendo Switch

Skyforge Project Lead Dmitry Lisichkin joined the Round Table podcast to discuss the experience of porting Skyforge for Nintendo Switch. The developer discussed technical limitations, monetization aspects, new audience, and more. Dmitry has been working on Skyforge since 2012. He started as a QA lead for game mechanics, then led a team of game mechanics developers, and their team worked on everything related to core gameplay: classes, monsters, and bosses. They were engaged in both the design and implementation of mechanics, as well as visualization and UX. Later, he became the head of the entire development, which is what he still does.Follow 80 LEVEL on social media:https://www.facebook.com/LevelEighty https://www.instagram.com/80.lvhttps://twitter.com/80LevelDmitry Lisichkin is Skyforge Project Lead:LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/dmitry-lisichkin-9a1194166/80 Level Interview https://80.lv/articles/skyforge-porting-a-game-to-nintendo-switch/ MY.GAMES Website https://my.games/en Skyforge for Switch https://www.nintendo.ru/-/-Nintendo-Switch/Skyforge-1906676.html We are looking for more artists!Join 80 LEVEL TALENT for free https://80lv.pro/rfp-rt Get your work noticed by some of the biggest and best developers, publishers, and studios in video games today. This video is sponsored by Xsolla, a global video game commerce company with a robust and powerful set of tools and services designed specifically for the video game industry: http://xsolla.pro/8023
