You might notice that Steve's mic cuts in and out this episode, and you might have noticed that there was some noise on his line last week. We were using a cable that was very sick and didn't realize it until after our recording session. Please accept that cable and find solace in the thought that we took that cable out to the yard and gave it a proper burial. In Episode 114 Ryan and Steve unveil the newest entry into the Klon-style pedal market...at least if all it took to be in that market is putting your pedal in a Klon-style box. That's right, we're talking about the Pelitaur from Pelican Noiseworks. It's an incredible 2-n-1 sort of fuzz that looks like a Klon on the outside, but sounds nothing like it on the inside. It's awesome. There will be a Youtube demo of it that you should check out. This week we talk about why refinishing should sometimes be left to the pros, unless you know what you're doing and can make something as rad as this, or go fully custom like this. Next we explore the business of the guitar world, starting with the question "Why doesn't Fender buy out Mastery?" This week's music was sent by David Danielson from the band Jacket Weather. The song is called "When Buildings Collapse".
