Skepticism rises for ByteDance's new Lemon8: Aimed at a Gen Z-type audience, Lemon8 is an emerging social app that takes fan-favorite elements from other platforms to build what could become a Frankenstein contender under ByteDance leadership. 2. Twitter in General is in its Flop Era: Twitter Circles promised to bring the privacy of IG Close Friends to the platform but appeared to break over the last week; not just showing private tweets to non-followers, but also putting them in the FYP of random users3. Launch of Meta Verification: Meta’s recently announced the launch of Meta Verified, a $15 per month subscription that allows Instagram and Facebook users to get a blue verification badge on their accounts. 4. TikTok offers a Reset on FYP: Long considered its greatest asset, TikTok newly unveiled the ability to wipe and reset your FYP's algorithm. 5.
