Our first pit stop of our heist lap was Heat, and today's episode is all about Den of Thieves, which can sort of be described as "dirtbag Heat." After quick (spoiler-free) discussions about Better Call Saul, Nope, and The Rehearsal, we talk about why Carter Verone feels the need to micromanage in the 2 Fast 2 Furious Minute (21:15). Then, we dive into Den of Thieves (31:25), featuring a cast that seems like it came to Joe in a fever dream. We find comfort in it being a knockoff, talk about O'Shea Jackson, Jr. ("Ice Chip") joining the #family, and unpack Joe's revelation about what every heist team "needs."
