Emmys, What If...? Ep. 6, Copshop, The Eyes of Tammy Faye, The Forever Purge | Episode 70

It was a quiet week for news but we we still have plenty to talk about. This past weekend was the 2021 Emmys (2:04). Sure there may have been some snubs, including Wandavision but Netflix finally beats the competition for most Emmys won and there were other notable wins to discuss. Episode 6 of 'WHAT IF...?' (29:05) premiered last week titled 'What if...Killmonger rescued Tony Stark?' Was it a good episode? And what happens next? In this week's episode we also do a quick TV round up of some shows we've been watching including 'THE MORNING SHOW' (56:27), 'AMERICAN CRIME STORY' (57:56), 'MONSTERS AT WORK' (59:13), and 'NONA' (1:02:030). There's also some films we got the chance to check out this past week including 'COPSHOP' (1:03:46), 'THE EYES OF TAMMY FAYE' (1:14:32), and 'THE FOREVER PURGE' (1:23:38). We also lost another dear black entertainer in Anthony 'A.J.' Johnson, the actor and comedian best known for movies like 'FRIDAY', 'MENACE II SOCIETY', and 'DEF JAM'S HOW TO BE A PLAYER'. RIP King.
