One of the easiest ways our brain can stop us from getting the life we want is by telling us that it’s going to take a lot of effort, a lot of work, and a lot of time. We think we need to make huge, sweeping changes and we end up trying to do too much too fast, which leads to burn out and quitting. Our brain tries to talk us out of small, daily action by telling us that we aren’t really making any progress day-by-day. However, your brain is underestimating the effect of cumulative action and even tiny effort adds up into significant accomplishment over time. That means that the more often we do the little things, the more our life starts to change in big ways.  Instead of taking huge steps, what we really need is to make a small effort, consistently, over a long period of time. On today’s podcast, I’m giving you lots of encouragement and tools to be able to start (and keep) doing the little things that make the biggest difference.
