When we set goals or go to create new things in our lives, we often feel excited and motivated and energized. However, these feelings don’t last very long. Because our brain’s objective is always to get us to stop, the positive emotions that were there when we set the goal are usually quickly replaced by negative ones. This is a problem because our emotions fuel and power our actions. In order to not stop and to continue to create the results we want, we need to purposefully choose useful emotions to help us take action when our brain wants us to quit. On today’s podcast, I share some of the most useful emotions I know—courage, curiosity, compassion, and certainty—so that you can continue towards your goals when your brain bombards you with negative emotion. Your brain is going to offer you all kinds of reasons to stop on your way to the things you want, but knowing how to access these four powerful emotions will give you the tools to keep going and create any result you want in your life. https://www.aprilpricecoaching.com/blog/141
